Candidates must have 1st class in M.Sc., M.Tech or M.Sc. (Tech) in any allied field of Geoscience suiting to WIHG’s research domains mentioned in the advertisement. Candidates must have submitted their Ph.D thesis or have been awarded a doctoral degree in the field of Geosciences. Candidates must have a minimum of three good publication records in SCI journals with at least one as lead author. Documents regarding thesis submission or doctoral degree must be included in the application. Work areas include Paleoclimatology, Tree-ring analysis, Dendroclimatology; Mineralogy, Fluid Inclusion, Mantle Petrology, Subduction & Collisional Geodynamics; Seismotectonics, Interior of the Earth; Low-temperature Thermochronology, Thermo-kinematic Modelling, U-Pb Geochronology of zircon; Vertebrate paleontology and Biostratigraphy.
